Pure craftmaship in the Mediterrean
It was at the beginning of the 60s when a well-known Mestre D’Aixa from Maó, Juanito Petrus, in his desire to improve the product, dared to build his first polyester llaüt. From the success obtained, the Capeador brand was born. In those years, the riverside carpentry was in the Port of Maó. Back in 1975, his father, Justo Saura, guided by his passion for the sea, took over the Capeador brand and the shipyard. Taking advantage of his knowledge and creativity, he began to develop numerous models of increasingly larger length. Always following the line of the typical Menorcan llaüt.
