MARTA DE LA RICA &
CRISTINE BEDFOR MÁLAGA

Years ago, Marta de la Rica and I talked about how we envisioned this hotel in Málaga. A lot has happened since then, but the essence and memories of those conversations remain.
Marta amazed me with stories from Cristine’s childhood and all the characters who helped shape the Cristine we know today.

Stripes, fabrics… A trip to Tangier, where Marta immersed herself in inspiration. There, she met people who would later become the friends of that young Cristine.

We rebuilt the building while preserving its original structure and highlighting every detail. We wanted to enhance that feeling of “home” in the heart of Málaga, respecting its history while adapting it to a new life.
A library, a restaurant that reminds us of Anne—a lover of butterflies and horses. Bold colors—greens and burgundies—fill a space designed to evoke a tack room, where one can dine surrounded by equestrian memories.

A fresh, Mediterranean world that maintains a thread
of continuity with our first home in Mahón.

Each room is a character. Red-striped hallways lead us to the “tent” once set up at the embassy when Cristine was a child, as her parents welcomed the people of Clementine Island. Plenty of light and plenty of memories.
This is our home in Málaga. A world where imagination and reality blend, and where we can’t wait to welcome you. We’re so excited for you to discover our story!
