The Menorcan equine ethologist teaches us her passion since she was a child: horses

Sita is a communication specialist and equine ethologist. She was born in Ciudadela and has lived surrounded by nature and animals all her life. Her obsession and passion from age three have been horses.

The human being can create a bond with horses from their logic and language, thus achieving a complete vision and understanding.

Currently, she is dedicated to giving horse riding lessons in Ethology, educating horses, and training a vaulting team (acrobatic gymnastics on horseback) where she has had several vaulters at an international level from the Spanish team. This team is currently the Spanish champion at the N2 level (the highest level). She also organizes horse riding routes through the Cami de Cavalls and on the peninsula. But her science and knowledge have no limits, and last year she organized horse safaris in Kenya.

Sita “whispers to horses”, and she infects you with love from a very different perspective. Horses and Sita understand each other, they are friends and companions. They work together and enjoy life and their time together. She teaches you to understand them and the riding experience becomes a moment of full connection between the human being and the horse.

She dreams of being able to offer agrotourism options in Menorca and dedicating her time and energy to developing papers on equine ethology and communication. Because she wants to share and will achieve it, and of course, we will be there to learn with all the enthusiasm of seeing her fulfilling all her dreams.

For now, I have an appointment with Sita to learn to dominate this beautiful animal with confidence and without fear. We will ride looking at the Port, crossing the forest until we reach Cala Rata, and if I dare (which, knowing Sita, I'm sure that's how it will be) "we will attack" La Mola Fortress. I am looking forward to it, and this will be the beginning of my horseback tour in Menorca, discovering places that I would not otherwise be able to.

Sita and her etiology have opened a door for me that I never thought I would be able to cross, with maximum gratitude. I encourage all of you to get to know Sita, her learnings, and the wonderful routes she discovers.
