The Principal Theater of Mahon is a reference in the creation, dissemination, and exhibition of the performing arts in Menorca. This institution strives to build new audiences and attract new spectators. All while maintaining its values and strengths that, after 190 years of history, have made it the oldest theatre in Spain.

The Foundation has been working since 2001 to diversify and consolidate quality programming, encourage the local population to attend the theatre regularly, aid in the professionalization of artists and performing arts companies, and foster the quality and ability of Menorcan artists to renew themselves in artistic production, among other goals.
