SABINE, CAN SAB &
CRISTINE BEDFOR

Sabine opened Can Sab a few years ago in Mahón, and it was a breath of fresh air for people like me. Tableware, Murano glasses, designer and vintage furniture, palm-shaped bamboo lamps, tapestries, napkins, tablecloths… In short, my dream store, everything curated with impeccable taste and an incredible selection.

The shop is an ode to good taste and has perfectly captured the Menorcan mood. Necklaces, bracelets, and the most wonderful bags specially designed for the store by @kilometre.paris, I would buy all of them. The clothing by @vicdamiani and @popidamiani… Honestly, I could go on and on about every single piece in this store.

As Sabine says, she loves that the island is leaning more towards cultural events like art and music. Can Sab has grown as a concept store, but it wants to maintain the Menorcan spirit and preserve the soul of Mahón’s old houses.

Last year, she opened a new shop at Plaza Bastió, 3, right in the heart of the city. And as she explains, both the space and the collection have grown. But little by little, as things are done on this island, with care, with patience, and with great taste.

I won’t miss the reopening at the end of April, a treasure hunt that brings me moments of joy every single year!
