A walk with Cristine
We start the day
with local flavor
Mahón is best discovered on foot… and through its flavors. An itinerary designed to let yourself drift, linking charming stops, local products and small pleasures throughout the day.
Begin the morning slowly at Es Llonguet, right in the center of Mahón, with its freshly made typical Menorcan pastries.
If you prefer something more classic, the pain au chocolat at Pigalle is always a great choice.

Mid-morning with views of the port
On your way down to the port, stop at Calucha. Here you are right on the port of Mahón, with open sea views, the sun shining, and the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a good Spanish omelette “pincho”.
Pool bar
A little snack to recharge and keep up the pace for the rest of the day. Enjoy our Pool Bar at Cristine Bedfor, where a carefully curated selection of snacks and cocktails awaits you in a relaxed setting. Discover our cocktail menu.
Rice with
a view
Continuing along the port, a must-stop is El Rais.
Here you will probably find the best views of Mahón’s port and one of the standout rice dishes on the island, perfect for a long, unhurried lunch by the sea.
Tradition next to the market
Back in the center, the area around the Mercat des Peix is one of the most authentic places in the city: stalls with fresh fish, local products and a truly Menorcan atmosphere.
Right opposite, Bar Augustin Candela is a mandatory stop to try their raolas and torreznos, one of those traditional flavors that define the island.
World flavors at the market
Very close by, the Claustro del Carmen Market combines history and gastronomy in a lively space.
Among its stalls you will find Mezquite, a taquería that’s perfect for an informal stop to try some very tasty tacos.
Aperitif and nibbles
Continue your walk with a vermouth at Cristanal and Gradinata, famous for their manolitos, the perfect pairing for this time of day.
For an afternoon snack with Menorcan flavor, the ideal plan is to relax at Es Suís with a cocktail in hand and their now-famous bikini of sobrasada and cheese: simple, local and absolutely irresistible. Another tempting option is to enjoy the patatas bravas at Anna y Pepe.
Dinner with fresh-from-the-market produce
For dinner, the perfect moment is at La Cocina de Cristine, the restaurant at Cristine Bedfor.

Chef
Pau Sintes
Here, chef Pau Sintes works with fresh market produce from the fish auction, bringing a contemporary touch while always respecting the origin and essence of Menorcan cuisine.

A sweet ending
And since every good stroll deserves a sweet ending, there’s nothing better than a hazelnut or pistachio ice cream at Heladería Deliri to close the day.
